Bad Education is an HBO Original film, a comedy drama, centred on Dr. Frank A. Tassone (Hugh Jackman), a highly regarded superintendent of a Long Island school, and his assistant Pamela “Pam” Gluckin (Allison Janney). Frank is a charmer, impressing the community, parents and students. Frank and Pam are credited with bringing the district unprecedented prestige. The school students do very well, and get into good colleges. Financially too, the school is going great. Frank gets the go-ahead for an exciting new construction project called Skywalk. The story undergoes a twist when student reporter Rachel Bhargav (Geraldine Viswanathan) decides to do a story on it for the school newspaper. While digging around, she uncovers inconsistencies in the books, leading to the reveal of an embezzlement scheme of epic proportions, orchestrated by Frank and Pam.
