Shankar is a middle class guy, an MBA graduate, who takes pride in riding an auto rickshaw owned by his father as he wants to lead an independent life. He enjoys every moment of his life with his bunch of friends and even falls in love with a rich girl Sangeetha. When they decide to take their relationship to the next level by getting nod from their parents, Sangeetha asks him to change his profession which Shankar disagrees with.
