He is diagnosed with brain tumour, which is already in the fourth stage. A North Indian girl and her brother are his support system and foster family. When the local politicians want to get rid of the brother and sister duo as they are migrants, Bhonsle single-handedly stands up to the divisive forces to protect the rights of the siblings. Bhonsle is the story of a police constable Ganpat Bhonsle (Manoj Bajpayee), who retires at the age of 60 and lives alone.
