After a successful plan that puts the Irmandade on every news coverage, Cristina would taste power for the first time. However, she also has to bear the consequences of her choices and prove her loyalty to her brother Edson as he becomes increasingly authoritarian and violent.
The show is set in the mid-90s and follows the story of Cristina, an honest and dedicated lawyer who finds that her estranged brother is in prison and is a leader of a rising criminal faction. Coerced by the police, she is forced to become an informant and work against her brother whom she always idolized. As she infiltrates the Brotherhood, she starts to question what’s right and what’s just.
