Corporal Marquez bears the disgrace of having a deserting father. The arrival of Colonel Santos’s regiment and the appearance of an old backpack, bring back the ghosts of the Cape. Marquez, upon discovering that his father was assassinated, rushes into the mountains to avenge his father’s death and clear his name.
