Love Is Blind is a dating reality show with a difference. It brings together couples who fall in love with one another only on the basis of chats that they have over audio through pods. At no point do they get to see what the person they’re interacting with looks like. All interaction is only through faceless chats. The couples are then engaged on the show itself to be married to each other, which is when they first set eyes on the other. They are then sent off on a short chemistry-building trip together, after which they come back and co-habit with each other. At the end of the show, they get married, thus giving credence to the title, ‘Love is Blind’. Of course, each couple is given a chance at the altar, whether they want to continue with the wedding or back out of it. An interesting reality show with a twist.
