Novelist Rosa Anagnostou invites Christine Agathi to the village of Artemiada. A private investigator and a columnist, Christine is to interview Rosa for the first time. During the interview Rosa announces the upcoming publication of her new book, namely an account of some rather deadly, well-kept secrets of the local residents. Quite unexpectedly, while eating her eggs, Rosa dies. Christine, trying to seek help, witnesses something shocking happening behind the door, when a sudden blow to the head knocks her unconscious. When she regains her senses, Rosa’s body has disappeared.
