The show is a remake of BBC One’s show by the same name. ‘Ghosts’ follows a struggling young couple, Samantha (McIver) and Jay (Ambudkar), whose dreams come true when they inherit a beautiful country house, only to find it’s both falling apart and inhabited by many of the deceased previous residents.
They move in and plan to turn it into a bed and breakfast. After falling down the stairs and suffering a concussion, Sam now sees the ghosts but believes she is seeing things. The ghosts try to think of ways to convince her they really are there.
