Following Franco Pastura, the story is structured in two defined chapters: “Gordo puto” and “Amen”. Through his register style, the director integrates himself into the story as a witness of the most intimate part of the protagonist’s life. It is there where his affections coexist, in a sort of harmonious contradiction: gay-bearing activism and the everyday family life of Italian-Catholic ancestry. For its part, the music becomes the voice of what is not said by the characters’ actions.
