“Homecoming” is an intimate short film about Jie, a woman returning home to Singapore for her younger sister’s wedding. Through a voicemail she leaves on the night of her arrival, we uncover the bittersweetness of this occasion: Jie, the eldest daughter, longs to support her sister, but must do so whilst confronting her fraught relationship with her estranged mother.
