In an abandoned Sicilian village, after WWII, little Severo dreams of seeing the tomato seeds he has planted, come to fruition. Decades later, now a grandfather living in the suburbs of Melbourne, Severo spends his days telling stories to his grandchildren, tending to his garden, and reminiscing on his childhood.
