Does the mask of the Makonde really have magic powers and can it settle the terrible quarrel between Johanna and her best friend? Johanna desperately needs the mask, but before her eyes it is stolen from Leipzig’s Grassi Museum and Grandpa Kito is considered the prime suspect! Kito has just appeared from Tanzania and wants the mask, brutally stolen in colonial times, to return to his village. For Johanna, there is more at stake than unmasking the real thief – she must find her own identity.
