Kalki

Kalki is a Telugu language thriller with ample doses of action. The Rajasekhar starrer opened with mixed reviews but was unanimously recommended for digital viewing. Kollapur is divided into two factions headed by Perumallu (Shatru) and Narsappa (Ashutosh Rana). Deva Dutta (Rahul Ramakrishna) is a journalist who is tracking the history of Kollapur constituency and violence it sprouts. While continuing his investigation, he witnesses the murder of Sekhar Babu (Siddhu Jonnalagadda). It creates a further divide between Narsappa and Perumalla, as the former is after the blood of the later. Amidst such a tense situation, Kalki (Rajasekhar) is appointed to handle the murder of Sekhar Babu. He gets assistance with Deva Dutta and together they clear the mystery surrounding the place and find out the killer, in the process. There is a subplot involving Kalki and Dr Padma (Adah Sharma), which is simultaneously taking shape around the mystery. How everything comes to a peaceful end is the overall story of the movie. Kalki is the sophomore attempt of director Prashanth Varma. He has made his debut with Awe. The thriller consists of many known faces like Nandita Swetha, Nassar, Jayaprakash, Charan Deep etc. Shravan Bharadwaj has provided the music to the film which is produced by C Kalyan.
