New Year’s Eve, just before bang: Bettina (Anke Angelke) and Martin (Matthias Brandt) are locked in a bank branch together by a technical defect on New Year’s Eve, half an hour before the turn of the year. In the WDR film “Kurzschluss” (Short Circuit), Anke Engelke and Matthias Brandt find themselves in this seemingly hopeless situation and try to free themselves from this predicament in time for the turn of the year.
