Experimental, visionary, pure extravaganza. Tavazzani’s last film was meant to be revolutionary but failed in its attempt due to the premature death of the artist. The production wanted to finish his work regardless, following what was written in his private diary, but did not live up to the expectations. However “La luna gialla” is still worth watching, due to its astonishing visual effects (even considering the very low budget)
