Down-on-her-luck Hannah (Melanie Lynskey) finds herself running out of options after being dumped by her husband for illegal possession. To start fresh, she takes a role at a local historic estate as a period reenactor and tour guide, posing as the estate’s former mistress, Lady Wadsworth (Judy Greer).
However, Hannah’s haphazard ways quickly stoke the ire of Lady Wadsworth’s ghost. She must then rely on an awkward yet charming historian (Justin Long) to change her ways or risk ruining her second chance.
