Love, Death & Robots Vol 2, American adult animated anthology streaming television series is streaming online, watch on Netflix with English subtitles, release date 14th May, 2021.
The second season of the highly anticipated adult animated series, ‘Love Death & Robots’ is finally here… but the season is only 8 episodes long, unlike the previous season – which had a whopping 18 episodes. Each episode is 17 minutes long (or under 17 minutes) and is extremely unique for its release order. The series is a re-imagining of Fincher and Miller’s “two decade-long in-development reboot” of the 1981 animated science fiction film, ‘Heavy Metal’.
Each episode is unique and is made by a different production with a different crew in a different country. The animation is varied from episode-to-episode, with a couple of episodes featuring some live-action performances. Each story is unique but it features at least one of the three titular focuses – love, sex and/or robots. Netflix has made four unique episode orders to view the episodes of the first season, so we expect at least two unique episode orders for this nest season. This Netflix original web series also has a third season planned, another 8-episode series which is scheduled to release in 2022.
