Kathiravan and Anaka fall in love and get married. Kathiravan goes abroad due to undercover work while Anaka is pregnant. Anaka’s parents take her child to the ashram saying that the child is dead and marry her to Saravana Subbaiah for the second time because they do not like the son after the child is born to Anaka as the departed person does not return.
When Kathiravan returned from abroad, he came to know that she had a second marriage. He finds her son and raises him. Anaka sees them both in the hospital one day and understands that it is her baby. She tells this information to her second husband so that they too can look after the baby. But Kathiravan refuses to give up. But Kathiravan then leaves his son for his wife as he returns to work. The plot of the film is whether or not their family eventually reunites?
