The Montreux Choral Festival generally takes place in the week following the Easter holidays, between the cities of Montreux and Vevey. For the international competition, the Festival regularly welcomes leading formations from all over the world, from the USA to the Russian Federation, from China to Israel, from Norway to Portugal, without forgetting Switzerland. For several years now, a national competition, reserved exclusively for Swiss ensembles, has seen an influx of ensembles from all the Swiss cantons.
