Naandhi is a hard-hitting courtroom drama in which Allari Naresh will be seen as an undertrial prisoner, Surya Prakash. The movie speaks about the woes of lakhs of undertrial prisoners languishing in jails for no wrong of them. Surya Prakash stays in jail for five years similarly in Naandhi.

The film directed by a newcomer Vijay Kanakamedala has Varalakshmi Sarathkumar playing the role of a lawyer. Naandhi has music composed by Sricharan Pakala.
