One day a red paper arrives for Takao, and he disappears. His girlfriends Yoko and Keiko search for him. Eventually, they find him abducted by two men, and their relentless pursuit of him begins. The frequent use of long, light moving shots and the unearthly reticence of the characters gives the film a strange flavour.
