Panya Renu is a comedy set in a Northeastern Thailand village. It tells the story of a schoolboy who forms a traditional morlam band with his friends and hopes to win a prize in a provincial competition. Renu is a girl who has a crush on him, but she faces complications when a bus carrying Bangkok students breaks down near their village and the rich city kids have to spend the night with the rural poor ones.
