Magda is separated from mariachi singer Ernesto on account of his alcoholism. She practices pole dancing while taking care of her daughter as she works in a beauty salon. Ernesto wants to get back together with her, but Magda becomes involved with a dangerous taxi driver who harasses her and now she must defend herself.
