10 years after the sudden death of her grandfather, Alabama-born documentarian Amelia Ray travels to Coosada, Alabama for a visit with her 76-year-old grandmother “MeMe”. In an effort to discuss the lingering effects of their shared loss, Ray engages in a difficult ongoing conversation with MeMe about the ways in which the death impacted her and their family at large.
