Yumiko, who is devoted to her bedridden husband, suffers from severe pain, ringing ears, and auditory hallucinations. At the request of a friend, she gets a brain scan. She worries about her future as condition gradually worsens. 60 years earlier, intense fighting has begun to take place in Okinawa.
