Promised Land is the story of a wealthy family whose patriarch, Joe Sandoval, owns Heritage House, a world-renowned vineyard in Sonoma Valley, California. It’s also the story of Carlos Rincón, a young Mexican immigrant who illegally crosses the border into the U.S. with dreams of a better life than the one he left behind.
Carlos finds his brother, Billy working at Heritage House, and together the two of them plot to take it over and one day become the owners. The series is an immigration story, the story of a business man with a mysterious past, and contains shades of Succession when it comes time for Joe to pick an heir to take over the business.
