On Saturday, in the second indoor race of his career at the Tyson Invitational, he ran a career best time of 4:01.15, which is the eighth-fastest time in high school history and a new Florida state record. His dream couldn’t be closer. As he finishes out his final year in a Nease High School uniform, he’s chasing several elusive goals that he’s set for himself. With a handful of records under his name already, the talent backs up the hype.
