It’s a little known secret that every 30 years a new Santa is picked, and this year is it. But when Santa’s right hand elf Bruno gets passed up for the job, he plots to undermine this year’s pick and replaces him with the Christmas hating, grumpy Eddie Garcia, and sends the dopiest elves from the North Pole to train him.
Eddie’s training tears his already troubled family life apart, as the two elves do their best to re-introduce him to the Christmas spirit, but his grudge towards the holiday proves too much for the elves to break. Only after giving up all hope, and quitting is Eddie given another chance to believe in himself, after the jealous elf Bruno in his final attempt to ruin Christmas takes Eddie’s family hostage.
