February 15th 2013. A meteor has burned its way through the atmosphere over the Ural region in Russia, its dazzling light brighter than the sun. In Kabelvåg, a small town in the north of Norway, the three close friends Ruby, Sebastian and Daniel celebrate their graduation. They have made plans for a future together, but much like the meteor, their destination and journey remains unclear.
