Taking inspiration from the Western and noir genres, Thar takes place in the eighties and follows the life of antique trader Siddharth. A job transfer to Pushkar, a small hamlet in Rajasthan that a series of violent deaths have lately shattered, leads Siddharth on a mission to get revenge on those responsible for his father’s death.
Siddharth and Surekha Singh come face to face as Surekha Singh is investigating the deaths in the area. Will it be the only time they come face to face? And more importantly, will Siddharth be successful, or does Pushkar have something else for him?
