When angsty teenage magician Raymond Clark makes the school mascot permanently disappear in a magic trick gone wrong, the whole school accuses him of terrorism. In order to clear his name, Raymond must work with school newspaper reporter, Skylar Salt, and his fellow magician best friend Blake Donaldson, who also wishes to uproot student council president Johnny Grape. Through the ensuing investigation our trio finds themselves in a vast conspiracy, which may or may not go all the way to the top.
