Synopsis:
The movie follows the journey of the Mitchell family who desperately need a reason to bond with each other before it’s too late for them. Katie Mitchell, the creative daughter gets accepted into the film school of her dreams and she is beyond excited. Her father Rick grabs the opportunity of dropping their daughter off to college into a family road trip.
As Mom, Dad, the younger brother and the family fur baby get together to drop Katie off, their road trip is cut short as an uprising of the machines takes over the world. They are the only ones now who can fight the upcoming robot apocalypse. How will the ultra problematic family save the world when they can’t even get together for a proper high five.
