In the spring of 1994 a number of mysterious events are taking place in a few days in the small town of Stryhiltsi, Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine. First, several children from the town are declared missing, then three teenage boys find a local Soviet-blocked Schuchinka River that has the ability to send a diver for 30 years into the future. The boys are trying to find a direct connection between the local kidnapper and the “time machine” river, but they don’t know how to prove it to the locals. While the police, who have never encountered anything like this, do nothing, the three boys are trying to unravel the mystery of the Stryhiltsi.
