Prometheus Transmission is a 2012 short film directed by Johnny Hardstaff and starring Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Michael Fassbender. Created exclusively for the home video release of Prometheus, the film takes the form of a “greeting” transmission prepared for the Prometheus mission, designed to be transmitted ahead of the ship’s arrival at LV-223 in order to prepare any potential alien life forms inhabiting the moon for first contact with the ship’s human crew.
