Lorraine is on a lifelong search for her former foster brother. She has a tense encounter with a stranger named Marcus, who then joins her on a road trip. As they search for the past and future, time becomes fluid and dream-logic takes over. During their journey, bits of conversation hint at an intimacy, and possibly a subconscious bond.
