Valayam is a Telugu language thriller starring Laksh and Digangana in the lead. The movie opened with poor reviews when it hit cinemas on February 21st, 2020. Aravind (Laksh) and Disha (Digangana) have an arranged marriage. Both like each other when they meet for the first time. They go on a honeymoon immediately, and everything seemed happy. One day a small quarrel crops up in the happy going marriage over a petty incident.
Aravind is the one who makes the first compromise moves. Disha, however, is in no mood to relent. Aravind leaves to office in frustration. When Aravind returns to his flat after work, he realizes that Disha is missing. What happened to Disha and how it ends is the basic plot of Valayam. There is also a parallel track involving the son of an MLA. Is there any connection between him and the missing wife? Ramesh Kadumula directs the thriller.
Apart from the lead the movie also features, Ravi Varma, Ravi Prakash, Noel Sean, Chitram Sreenu play key supporting parts. Sekhar Chandra gives passable music but an effective background score.
Padmavathi Chadalavada produces the movie under Sri Thirumala Tirupati Venkateshwara Films banner.
