Chakravyuh: An Inspector Virkar Crime Thriller is a crime-thriller series base on the book ‘Anti-social Network: An Inspector Virkar’ by Piyush Jha. Set in Mumbai, the story revolves around Inspector Virkar from the Crime Branch who is brought in to solve the case of gruesome murders of college students across the city.
During his investigation he comes across a group of ruthless, young, tech-savvy miscreants who use social networking sites and the Internet for blackmail and sextortion. Due to Virkar’s lack of computer and tech related knowledge, he always remains one step behind the criminal mastermind. Are the murders and the tech-savvy miscreants linked to each other? If yes, how? Will Virkar be able to save his reputation and nab the culprit?
