In London, in 1965, the skilled inspector Elizabeth Grindeberg rushes out of a movie theater in pursuit of a mysterious silhouette. She is about to catch up. As she does so, her back seizes up and the figure flees. Larry, her intern, joins her, breathless. Back at their office, they start the investigation from scratch. Inside Grindeberg’s head, everything is mixed up: the clues, the piles of cardboard boxes, and Larry constantly interrupting her.
