The factory shuts down and the grandfather suffers a cerebral infarction. His grandson tries to take him to the city to enjoy his retirement, but he refuses. The grandson eventually understands that it is not the present factory that his grandfather is unwilling to leave, but the factory that remains in his memory as well as his own youth.
