Trance is a Malayalam language drama starring Fahadh Fasil in the lead role. The movie came with huge hype and opened to mixed reviews on February 20th, 2020. Viju Prasad (Faahadh Faasil) is an average, working from pillar to pillar kind of motivational speaker. He has personal issues to deal with, which is breaking him down. At a very crucial juncture, Viju meets Issac and Solomon. His life is changed upside down and a new avatar emerges in the form of Joshua Carlton. The trio makes religion a form of corporate business and earns money by performing miracles. It all goes well, and they earn millions and following by fooling people. However, one act among the many performed by Joshua lands the three in trouble. The psychological repercussions are felt in the life of Joshua. He tries to come out clean by telling the truth via Mathews Thomas. Leaning the real intentions, Solomon and Issac try to have Joshua killed. Who wins the battle in the end forms the rest of the story. Trance came with massive hype due to the combination of Fahadh Fassil with Anwar Rasheed. The theme also added fuel to the fire.
